Section 125 Administration


Group Resources offers a turn-key approach to Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Account administration, including holding group meetings for employees, the enrollment of employees, discrimination testing for the plan and processing of claims.

Anyone who enrolls in a Flex Spending or Dependent Care Account will be eligible to obtain a Take Care Card (debit) for direct payment of his/her out-of-pocket expenses for medical, dental, vision, prescription, or dependent care.

At the point of purchase, the participant will use the Take Care Card rather than cash. Funds will automatically be debited from the employees’ FSA or DCA account without them having to wait for reimbursement on the transaction. The employee may have to submit an itemized receipt for this transaction to substantiate eligible expenses.
This has proven to be very popular with our employer groups and has increased participation by employees, (which essentially is a saving to both the employer and employee).

This is a voluntary program; you may still have a Section 125 Plan without the Take Care Card. Also, an employee can choose, or not choose, to use the card at each time of purchase.


HSA & HRA Administration:


Under certain circumstances, you, as an employer, and your employees might benefit from either an employee-funded HSA or employer-funded HRA. These plans give employees a personal stake in controlling health-care expenses and allow you to offer a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), without exposing employees to massive out-of-pocket expenses. We’ll help you determine if one of these programs is right for you, then we’ll administer and monitor the plan and keep you apprised of employee usage and plan performance.
